Silver Lining Earrings

Quarantine, a two-sided handmade fine silver and sterling silver ring. 

I’ve designed and made this piece at the very beginning of Covid-19 madness.
Just like everyone else, I was lost, confused and worried about my loved ones from something which was completely unpredictable and unknown.

And when the unknown comes, fear comes too.

I was trying to express how this feels, how human nature tends to get divided so easily in such complicated situations, and how it gets to different points of view followed with different reactions.

It’s comfortably wearable on both sides. One side is shaped in a way that you would forget about wearing it, while the other one will keep on reminding you that it’s there every moment you become tensioned to the point you squeeze your hand.
